Unable to see available disc space for new volume

Issue-
HP Netserver LH4
MegaRAID-1M card with (9) 18 GB drives
2 Arrays : 1 RAID-1, 1 RAID-5
Intended setup (simplified)-
Array1 would be 4 GB SYS and 14 GB Vol1
Array2 would be 72 GB Vol2

When the server loads and Novell is running, I can see the first array and both volumes have been created. I cannot however see the second array. The hardware seems to be functioning correctly and the array has been initialized. We have this same setup on four other servers but I cannot figure out the problem.
