Unable to save records in .wav format

Hi

I have Nice Logger version 8.8.I'm unable to save recordings in .wav format.the query applications gives error "No audio for call - 2311".But i'm able to save the same recording in .aud ( nice propriety format).The workstations are windows XP.

Well, this isn't something I have ever encountered, however i DO know that NICE generally isn't very fond of Microsoft's latest monster, a.k.a: Windows XP !

Im thinking that this is most probably a bug, or something that NICE haven't noticed before releasing the software... however if you contact them you might find that they have released an update to counteract this. Failing that, it's possible that some other users on here may be able to help.

One other thing I have just thought of though... Check the user's security Permissions and ensure that "Save/Email Audio" and "Local Play" and both checked. This enables users to Save Audio on the local machine / LAN - it's possible that if this is not checked the .wav format is not available.

If that isn't the problem, then sorry I can't be of any further assistance.

is it possible to progrmatically retrieve voice files from the logger!!.
