Unable to save from MS Word 2003 on Terminal Server

When I have a standard user logged in to terminal services they are not able to save Word docs anywhere shared drives, network drives, etc Only a message "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact ...." What permission or restriction am I missing I can save from every other program except Word or Excel

Try making the user a member of the LOCAL admin group.

Check your Office Group Policies on the terminal server.
