Unable to Run Crystal Report from PeopleSoft 7.0

Hi,

My Crystal Reports version is 5.0.1.108. I'm trying to run Crystal Reports from PeopleSoft Application on my computer(Windows 98)which has PeopleSoft Client. My computer is mapped to a server drive(M:\) on which all the Crystal files are installed. I also have a stand alone Crystal Reports version installed on my machine.

When I made a search for CRPE32.dll on my computer it gave me following results.

1. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM (I guess this is because of the stand alone crystal reports that I installed)
2. M:\CRW501 (Server folder where Crystal Reports was installed)
3. M:\hr700\setup\windows\system.

There is another computer right next to my desk with similar configurations(Windows 98 and stand alone Crystals installed) but it works perfectly fine.

I'm not able to understand why it is not working on my computer. When I run some Crystal Reports it gives me the following

errors.

1. Could not load the CRPE.dll
2. ODBC Error: Specified driver could not be loaded
3. Server has not yet opened.

What does these Error mean??....is it a CRPE.dll problem or some ODBC error(Error # 2)...kindly help me resolve this
issue.

If both PCs you mentioned have the same software config, check the system PATH on each for 3 settings.....

1. Your database client install (Oracle, MSSQL, etc)
and
2. Your Crystal install.
3. Your PeopleSoft install

BE SURE TO COMPARE THE ORDER THESE ARE LISTED IN THE PATH. It matters!
