Unable to retrieve mail using POP3

Enviroment: NW5.1 + GroupWise 6

I've enabled POP3 but it doesn't seem to work. I tried to retrieve mail using Outlook Express but it fails...

I tried connecting to the POP3 directly using telnet. I have a user whose email is "glio@abc.efg.com"... so I typed "USER glio" and the server only gives me error: "-ERR GroupWise Login Failed"... Why?

Do you have a firewall? If so, does the firewall permit POP3 traffic to/from your GW server?

This would be the first place I'd check.
