Unable to restore from Multimple sessions in 11.1

Using Brightstor 11.1 running on 2003 Server using via SCSI to a Iomega REV drive.
Nightly backup has multiple sessions appending to same tape nightly. Backups seem to work in that no error messages seen in audit log and sessions all backed up to tape.
On requiring a restore the required file was selected from one of the sessions. On running the restore it seems only 1 session stored on tape. The Databases happily sees multiple sessons in the backup but reports none stored on tape.
Is there a know issue/fix running Brightstor 11.1 on 2003 Server ?

Have you tried re-merging the tapes? Sometimes the sessions don't write back to the catalogue on backup.

Check for *.cat files in the BrightStor ARCserve Backup\Temp directory this shows that the backup is having issues writing the catalogue.
