I am unable to delete a colour/swatch from an old indesign document. I was able to elimate several unused colours but one colour is still in use from an old file. How do I replace the old colour without doing it manually to each page? Help!"

In quark you could just go to color settings/highlight color and replace in with another and it would do this automatically throughout the document.

Thank you....Jennifer

Do you mean a placed graphic has spot color information embedded in it that you want to delete from the InDesign document? You can't unless you go back and edit the placed graphic in the original image editor.

You can alias spot colors by accessing the 'ink manager'. This allows you to alias a PMS350U to print on a PMS327C plate.
