I have a problem where I am unable to rename new folders at the root of a cluster volume.

Neither the folder nor the volume have rename inhibit set on them. I have full effective rights to the volume.

Netware 5.1 Service Pack 5, Cluster services 1.0.4

Any ideas??

This might not be your problem, but I had this issue before. It turned out to be an antivirus program running on the server. It is made by ad\rem (sic), the people who make the nice remote console. Look in the autoexec.ncf for an nlm starting with an "a". Sorry I don't remember the actual name.

Thanks, but no NLMs starting with "A" in autoexec.

OK, sorry that did not help. Here is the lines in mine that I rem'ed out.
;#Load AVIR.NLM
;#Load ACONX.NLM
;#Load ASCH.NLM
