Unable to register server in AM 1

Dear Listers,

I have recently installed AS & SP3 from the SQL Server 2000 EE disk. Two issues I am unable to resolve :
i) The default Foodmart db is not installed, ie. no Foodmart 2000 folder is created.

ii) Unable to register the server in the AM pane resulting in 'Errors occured while connecting to ....' 'Cannot connect to the repository .... Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.'

Note. We are running W2K Server, SP4. I have been thru a plethora of combinations and checks even down to the registry level, without success.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled AS w/ SP3 again?
