Unable to Register NWDIRAUTH.DLL

OK all you Novell Gurus, I need your help! I am trying to register NWDIRAUTH.DLL on a Windows 95 machine but the registration fails. This PC has Novell client for Windows 95/98 installed as well as Groupwise 5.5. Regsvr32 reports that the registration of this DLL fails (no additional information is provided).

I have a Visual Basic application that needs NWDIRAUTH.DLL to validate a password. I am at a loss as to where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried to unregister it and reregister?

regsvr32 nwdirauth.dll /u then reregister, you might have to reboot after unregistering the dll.

I've tried that but it never gets registered in the first place. I still get the error message when I try to register the DLL w/ regsvr32.

Have you tried to register this file on a 98 machine?

Also, is the windows95 machine updated/patched with all the MS updates?

I'm thinking that a required/support dll that nwdirauth.dll needs is not up to date.
