Unable to Reboot after installing virus scan 6

I installed virus scan 6 and everything seemed to go ok however on rebooting my computer will not go beyond the Windows 98 screen I had to go into safe mode and unistall to get it working again any fixes please

Open AUTOEXEC.BAT and put a REM on the line where BootScan is invoked. This should fix it.
