I have recently changed my work PC from a desktop to a laptop. All my softare and data was migrated across to my new machine and went reasonably well.

However, in Lotus Notes, I have lost the functionality of being able to add a name from the company Directory to my personal address book. For some reason the little add button is grayed out. Prior to changing my PC, this function worked perfectly.

Has anyone any suggestion on how I can re-enable this button? Thanks

First, I would make sure that the replica of the company directory exists in the local data directory of your Notes. If that is the case, there is probably an administrative parameter somewhere that someone forgot to update during the migration.
I would look through my notes.ini file and verify that all file paths mentioned are correct.
I would also check the Tools/preferences dialog box and check that all is properly configured in the various path options available.

After that, I'd call the Helpdesk and have them look into it.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.
