Unable to Print to Network Printer while VPN is running

Hi, I am using Checkpoint's Securemote VPN on a Windows 2000 machine that is attached to a Linksys BEFSX41 Firewall/Router. Everything is working fine as far as my VPN connection, but I can not print anything to a network printer which is also attached to the Linksys Router while the VPN is running. As soon as I disconnect from my VPN connection, any documents that I requested to print while the VPN was running, will begin to print.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know and thanks!!!

After establishing vpn, the routing table may be changed and all traffic goes to the different direction. check the routng table by using route print or post here. we also need toknow the printer or router ip. For more tips or information, go to

What version of Secure Remote/client are you using? Secure Client, NG version's this is a known behaviour, what is happening is the Secure client is Firewalling your NIC, this way no other devices can communicate with the NIC and possibly compromise the network you're VPN'd into. I'm pretty sure the CP knowledge base has more info on this.

Thanks rn4it, the version of the SecureClient is "NG with Application Intelligence (R54) build 132. I did look through Checkpoints Knowledge Base and was unable to find anything that resembled my issue. I'll just keep searching until someone tells me this is a limitation with the VPN. This is more of an inconvience than anything else, so I should not complain as I could have more serious issues than this.
