Hi, I need help.
I am connecting to a Citrix XP server trough the client on XP Pro WS. Printers are not able to be added that are directly to my (the client) network. Most printers are HP with Jet Direct Cards. We are on a private IP scheme (192.168.1.x). I can add printers that are shared directly from individual machines in our network. When I connect to Citrix and go to the 'Add Printer Wizard', I can see the printers that my machine has installed (Client\PTDT#\\Server\SCG_LaserJet). When I attempt to add them I get the standard "You do not have sufficient access to your machine to connect to the selected printer." The admin of the Citrix server has supposedly made the proper changes to the server (MS KB 259937). The humorous thing here is that I am the client and they are the host that charges us monthly to connect to them and I have to try and figure this out. They have 'consulted' there Citrix expert and he claims I have to give my printers public IPs and port them through my firewall.
We are running an NT4 domain with about 35 clients and 5 printers attached directly to our network through JetDirect i/fs.
They are running a 2000 domain and the citrix server is a member.
Thanks in advance for your help
