Unable to print from reader 0x4 acrord32 errors

the error also occurs when trying to do a page setup in acrobat (using 5.1)
reinstalled print driver
uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat 5.1
(even tested acrobat 6.0 getting same error)
Have tried to print from systems that have the same image and can't print from Reader on any of them. Tried using different profiles and still was unable to print. Is there a way I can TOTALLY remove acrobat to try to start over?
