I have a client that can print from all apps except Groupwise. Gets a "memory could not be read" message.
I've re-added his printers, uninstalled and re-installed GW 6 after using RegClean and still gets the same error.
I uninstalled 6 and put 5.5 back on and still the same error when printing. Installed 6 again and still error.
We have tried using different accounts and still the same error. This is the only system in the call centre that has this problem. I've emptied the temp folder. I think my next move is to uninstall the Novell client and Groupwise and re-install both. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to manually uninstall so that I get all items out of the registry or any other cleaners to use? I used the cleaner with 5.5 and it didn't work either.

I have come across this in my GW adventures.....When you install gw it puts a folder in temp called gwprint....if that folder gets wacked you can no longer print....hope this helps....either you can reinstall the client or restore from trash... Tamra Graver --CNA

After many re-installs and reg cleans I was still unable to print. I was going to uninstall NDPS and the Novell client, blow away the registry entries for Novell and start over. I removed NDPS and was unable to re-install it. It was looking for a different file that was on the cd. I re-installed GW without NDPS and was able to print. Go figure!

I'm having a similar problem. A user with GW5.5 on Win98 printing to a local printer. Reinstalled the print drive, uninstalled GW client (also ran the cleaner util) reinstalled GW client. Not using NDPS. GWPRINT folder and all other temps have been deleted. Anyone have any other suggestions?

There is a procedure for problems that occur on one WS
that has a few methods to try, the last one being re-format.
It says to also uninstall Windows Messaging when doing the uninstall of GW. I tried them all before the fluke NDPS fix and they didn't work
