Hi All,

I have posted this question on another forum, but no one over there seems able to help. Maybe someone here can help. I have been working on this problem for a while now and I can't seem to get anywhere.

I installed MS Project Server and Sharepoint and
everything appears to be working correctly. Login is set
to windows accounts and several accounts have been
established and tested. A simple to do list was created
and looks and works fine and e-mail notification appears
to be working also.

My problem is that I cannot get Project 2000 to publish a
project to the web page.

I found the following Knowledgebase article:

and I have been working on it.

Note that I am using Project Server 2002 and Project
2000. Thay are supposed to play well if you set the
server to not require logon when publishing to the web
page. This is set correctly.

Cause 1: - the URL - I have found that you are supposed
to put the same url into project options box as what you
use to log onto the Project server. I have tried both of
the following:
""
They both will get you logged in to the server in IE but
neither will allow you to puglish a project. Note that
website is set up for no anonymous logins, basic
authentication and integrated Windows authentication.

Cause 2 - Not a problem
Cause 3 - Not a problem
Cause 4 - anonymous access to Pjdbcomm.dll in the ISAPI
folder was not activated (because I had turned off
anonymous access to website) so I corrected this using
credentials that are verified working on my main web
site. Did not effect problem.

Cause 5 - I looked at this one in the registry and the
account is the one I entered when installing the software
so I am pretty sure this is correct. I went into the
database properties and set the account to have all the
roles available including database owner - this caused
all kinds of errors when accessing the Project server
with IE. Had to set it back to just the Public and
MSProcectServer roles to get it working again.

Cause 6 - Not a problem
Cause 7 - Not a problem - I think, I couldn't find this
option in Project Server 2002.

Cause 8 - Not a problem - I Think. I ran the share point
configuration utility before installing Project Server
and when I installed Project Server the last time, I let
it create it's own database and this appears to be
working fine.

Cause 9 - Not a problem
Cause 10 - Not a problem
Cause 11 - Not a problem

I haven't got it working yet so I am still looking for
ideas.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck
.

I finally got it working. I just tried using the web page URL without any asp specified and it worked

ie:

I am sure I tried that earlier on in my trouble shooting, but maybe something else was wrong at that time.
