Unable to pop up a report.

I am on crystal Enterprise server, 8.5, using Active X Control for crystal viewer. Database is SQL 2k and Win2k operating system

I am facing problem in viewing a report on crystal report viewer.
It wasn't like that from the last three years, it just started two weeks ago, i don't know what changes we made on server side.
Once we passed parameters, the reports never display on the crystal report viewer, we only got a white background.
But if we go to report designer and open and save the same report again, problem get rsolved and we would be able to pass parameters and display report. after sometime same thing happens again and again with same report and other reports too.

Please respond me with any solution. clien is very desperate. right now i se VPN, PCYanywhere to log onto thier box and re open and save reports in order for them to use it properly, else i have no solution.

Interesting one, I saw an earlier post on this.

How are they invoking the reports? Is this a Windows program, or a web based program?

I will explain a little bit more.
Basically what i am trying to say is once I passed the parameters from parameters pop up grey box the viewer window launched and an hourglass appears on white background and hanged, nothing happened after that.

I need to close the browser. Then open cryatal report designer, open same report and just save it again and it works fine next time on viewer.




any ideas on what to do?
