No sure what I did? I have a program JCATS running a Sun Solaris v8, Did work, now when I launch program I get error "Unable to connect to server simsvr". Other issues are, When I ping 192.168.0.100 it says nonreachable localhost 127.0.0.1 to 192.168.0.100. After boot I do ifconfig -a hme0, hme0 has no IP or mask even though I have a /etc/hosts file. I do an ifconfig hme0 start is says bad address. I can do ifconfig hme0 192.168.0.95.
Also I used to be able, as root, to open a term window and type shutdown now and it would, now I have to type /etc/shutdown now. Is this some sort of pathing issue? Thanks Freestyle

You're in SCO forum, try a solaris one to get more accurate replies.
Anyway seems that your NIC is/was misconfigured.

Hope This Helps, PH.
