Unable to ping to a system on another subnet

Hi,

Can someone let me know what could be the problem,If my system is able to ping to other systems on the local subnet but unable to communicate to the systems on another subnet.

have a look to your gateway configuration or your netmask.

try a traceroute to a remote system in another network
