I have recently installed a CS1000E with two MG 0 0 and 0 1 along with a Signaling Server. For some reason I am unable to access any of the above mentioned devices over the WAN. It works fine over the local LAN. Strange enough I can access the Call Server with no problems via the WAN. I have double check and triple check the network config on both the MGCs and the Signaling Server and can't seem to find anything wrong. I have also reinstalled the software and reconfigured the Signaling Server but the problem is still there.

Can anyone help ?

Why post this here? It is obviously a routing issue in the data network. Contact the IT department.

To answer the question you ask more info is needed. Can you ping the gateways. Do you have the correct gateways. More than likely there is a static route to the CS Elan but not to the entire subnet.

Yes I can ping the gateway and the correct gateway is configured on the devices. The ELAN subnet is the same for all the devices connected on the network. There is a static route for the entire ELAN on thenetwork router. I can also ping other devices on the network which are connected to the same switch on the same VLAN.
eg. if i connect my laptop with a static ELAN IP and the same gateway as the other devices i can ping the laptop over the WAN.

It is probable that who ever installed the switch, set up the default gateway of each device to be itself. That way there is now way for the traffic to route of its own network.

Historicaly the elan had to be a non-routed network so why bother with a gateway.

Go onto the switch and : LD 117, prt rout, check the table.
