Hello,
Our mailserver was domaincontroller, we build 2 new domaincontrollers.
Now we did dcpromo on the mailserver so he became a member server.
At this moment we are unable to ping from our 2 Domain controllers to the mailserver.
If we ping from the mailserver to the 2 Domain controllers it work just fine.
Does anyone knows a solution for this?

Thanks.
Marco

i would look at exchange forum

i beleive there are multiple tids about this
have a horrible feeling though that ms really dont advise the course you have taken - there are funnies with exchange and dc's

You should never ever install exchange on a domain controller. You have probably screwed up settings in exchange because domain controllers have different security settings. Microsoft i do believe strongly recommends installing it on a seperate member server unless its Small Business Server. I could be wrong but you might have done some damage to your exchange setup because you dcpromo'd it after the fact.
