Unable to open the item mrf_chkfile_-10319 skipped.

My backup exec always says skipped for the following file:

Unable to open the item C:\Program Files\Trend\Common\TMI\mrf_chkfile_-10319 - skipped.


I have searched and searched and cannot find a way to back up mrf_chkfile_-10319 in particular. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Why not just skip it? Looks like it's just an Antivirus checkfile. Is there a specific reason you want to back that file up? If you have to back it up, you could use the open file agent, or stop the Trend services prior to backup and starting them after backup. You could script that with the pre- and post- options.
