I have a windows 7 Lenovo laptop, I have ADMIN9_0_3_0_941, I'm unable to open system status from advanced, I get an "java virtual machine launcher" error, I downloaded the latest Java, i tried removing manager, reboot & re-install it with no luck, does anyone know how to fix this?

Is system status installed? Can you open it using windows > all programs > avaya > IP Office > system status ?

Search for configure Java > Security and turn it off.

Downgrade Java to version 7, then you can change the level to Medium, Medium is removed in version 8

I'll try but I don't think that's it because it works on another pc but it has windows 8

This is the fix, uninstall all java, re install java & it worked

Reminds me of an IT guy I knew. He said:"there are many ways to screw up computers but if you want to really do a number on it use Java"
I had that ringing in my head lots of times when Java didn't play nice. :)
