Unable to open reports 1

I am unable open any access reports. I click the report and I get nothing. I am using Office 2003 with Window XP SP2

Can you open reports in other databases? Have tried compact and repair (back-up first, of course)?

I did a repair and then a reinstall of Office 2003. Still unable to open the access reports. All databases.

Do you have a default printer? Even a generic text only will do.

The PC is set up with a default printer.

Try adding the generic text only printer and setting it as the default. You can set it to print to file, for test purposes.

I guess I,m not clear on what you mean on a generic text printer. We have a hp printer as a default printer for this PC. How does a printer effect the access report/

When you choose to add a printer, you will Generic Text Only is one of the options. There is, apparently, a problem with some printers, HP in particular. Seeing if this simple printer works will narrow down the possibilities and help to show if you have a problem with your printer. If so, you can check the HP site.

That was it! I changed the default printer he was using and he is now able to open the reports. Thanks.
