Unable to open .pst file???

I recently move a bunch of emails to a personal outlook file but now I cannot open it. I am using Office 2003. When I try to open it, I get a message from Outlook stating that the "file is NOT a personal folders file". Any information on how to fix this would be highly appreciated.

Have a look at this and run the repair tool, should sort it out.
