I think the computer probably got a virus from a music download program called 'limewire'. When the computer is turned on an error comes up saying:
Error Loading w95dd3d6.dlll
The system cannot find the file specified.
After 'OK' is hit then msn opens and Freedom Antivirus then limewire comes up but is unable to open (was tried to be removed manually but obviously was not all removed) When anything is tryed to be opened (control panel, solitare) it says "Not enough free memory to run this program. Quit one or more programs, and then try again"
When Ctrl+Alt+Delete is pushed the following programs come up:
msn messenger
freedom antivirus
limewire
i ware
Eboard
Winupdates
Wwkqm
Findfast
Gbtask
Pelmiced
Dhbltjka
Sys 9845986 common
optimize
systray
rundll32
opware 32
duce6
duce6
duce6
ect(duce6)
windows394843
ect(windows######)

When end task is tried the same error comes up that there is not enough memory to open that program.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this or is the computer unable to be fixed??
Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks!

I would download and run spybot adaware and hijackthis. try running in safe mode and seeing if these processes are still runing. Are you sure it's XP you have? Duce6 is most likely a trojan and needs to be removed. Post in the spyware forum.

It does look like Windows 98 or ME processes, not XP?

See if this can help you anyway?

Your going to be better off without malware. I have no experience with Prevx and cannot offer advise about it.

I would still advise using spybot/hijackthis and seeing if they can fix the problem first.
One problem is, that some of these trojans are very good at recreating themselves even after you delete/fix them, especially if they hang about in the system restore(if you've got winMe).
eg
personally, with some stuff like that, I would copy all data that is important and then reformat the drive and start from scratch. And don't use limewire or other P2P programs unless you're prepared for the risks.
