Hi all

I'm having a problem mounting my mailbox store on our Exch2003 server.

I also get a application error in the event viewer on reboot.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: EXOLEDB
Event Category: Events
Event ID: 116
Date: 09/01/2006
Time: 13:57:25
User: N/A
Computer: WATFD-EXCHANGE

Description:
Microsoft Exchange OLEDB was unable to initialize event system correctly. Support for store event may have been disabled. HRESULT = 0x80070005.

I am also getting these two errors in the event viewer while the server is running.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeSA
Event Category: MAPI Session
Event ID: 9175
Date: 09/01/2006
Time: 14:07:48
User: N/A
Computer: WATFD-EXCHANGE

Description:
The MAPI call 'OpenMsgStore' failed with the following error:
You do not have permission to log on.
The MAPI provider failed.
Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store
ID no: 8004011d-0519-00000000

And.......

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeFBPublish
Event Category: General
Event ID: 8197
Date: 09/01/2006
Time: 14:58:21
User: N/A
Computer: WATFD-EXCHANGE

Description:
Error initializing session for virtual machine WATFD-EXCHANGE. The error number is 0x8004011d. Make sure Microsoft Exchange Store is running.

The funny thing email is working ok, I can send and receive fine and the Information Store is running.

I have tried a few Microsoft KB's but all to no avail.

Service pack 2 for Exchange is installed.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The 116 event is the failure of an event sink to initialize. The reson given is 80070005 or MAPI_E_NO_ACCESS or basically access denied. What event sinks are you registering? Any third party products that would try to register an event sink?

The 9175 event is offlie address book creation failing. 8004011d means MAPI_E_FAILONEPROVIDER which, in and of itself, isn't very descriptive. The -0519-00000000 portion tells us the equivilent of "you don't have permissions to log on". The store in this case would be a public store.
