Hi all...
An external Seagate 60 GB hard drive was working just fine as a SCSI device on my O2. All of a sudden after a system shutdown I am no longer able to mount it. The disk spins up just fine. The /etc/fstab entry has remained unchanged. One key clue is that when I do hinv, there are over 15 disks showing up on SCSI controller 1. This is backed up by over 15 different "disk" icons showing up on my desktop. I have very precious data on this disk. Can anyone help me with mounting this disk successfully?
Pathology: when I try to mount it the system tells me that it is not "xfs". But this can't be true, 'coz it is.
Any and all help will be highly appreciated.
