Hello Everyone!

One of my users tried to login with wrong password and now they get this screen saying

"Unable to logon to infoview ,Please contact your system administator for assistance. Please close your browser before continuing"

Any help is appreciated .

Thank You

It would depend on how you are authenticating the user. If the user has an Enterprize account, then you can reset the password in CMC under the Authentication->Enterprise.

If the user is authenticated through Windiows AD then have your Windows AD administrator reset the password.

Hello Kskid!

Thank you for your response and sorry for the delayed reply.

The user never got back to me agin with the error, looks like it's fixed after sometime because in CMC it was set to 5 min to change the password.

Now one other user is having the same problem.
And i don't understand where i can change the password in Authentication-->Enterprise.
All i see is password restrictions, login restrictions and so.
Please specify clearly as i'm new to CMC.

Thank you.

When the user logs into Business Objects Infoview, what authentication method do they select (Enterprise, LDAP, Windows AD, and Windows NT)? For my organization, I have external users use the Enterprise authentication since they do not have a Windows AD account. I create the username and password from CMC Authentication and Enterprise tab. If these users forget their password, I go into Authentication->Enterprise tab and reset the password. For my internal users that have a Windows AD account, their username and password is controlled by the Windows AD administrator.

When you log into CMC, click on the question mark located in the upper right hand corner for a complete reference on Business Objects Enterprise.
