Unable to logon in NT server 4.0

We have a Windows NT server 4.0 server and not part of doamin. It is standalone server and after supplying the correct password for the administrator user id the system logs in and immediately coming back to logon screen. Tried many times to logon and the result is same. It allows only for a fraction of a second to login and immediately throws out to logon screen. I checked for virus by maping from another server and it looks good.

Please give your valuable solution and appreciate your response in advance.
