Unable to Login with Mac Soft phone and IP Phone simultaneously IPO9.1.7

Hi Team,

I am installing Mac softphone and logged in, but the same time my IPPhone logged out automatically. Is there any setting need to be enabled? because the same way it is working with Windows Communication & Softphone.

System IPO9.1 SP 7.

Urgently help required.!!

That's how it's supposed to work, you can't be logged in with softphone and H.323 extension at the same time.

If you want 2 devices to ring at once, that's what groups or twinning is for....:)

Why is the mac sofphone different from Avaya Communicator in that regard. With Communicator, you can log in "simultaneous" with an H.323 desk phone. I've used older versions of the mac client on 9.0 and it at least logs you in and while logging out your desk phone. Is 9.1 different in this regard? Do you need to dedicate sip extensions to the new Mac client?
 
Softphone (MAC and Windows) creates a temporary SIP extn and then hotdesks the correct user onto that extn, that's why you can't use both at once, it steals the user :)

 
thanks amriddle01, have you got this working with server edition 9.1? I've seen it work as you described on 9.0
 
Ah, didn't notice it was 9.1 sorry, no not tried with that release specifically :)
