unable to login to MD110

I'm trying to login to MD110 with tracker 2600, when I dail in with hyperterminal the first stage is ok getting screen with tracker 2600 online, but when I press the "S" key to get S's even though I got cap locks on screen there is no response,

you still need to login to the tracker when you receive the 'tracker 2600 online' string.
