Hello,

I tried logging into Groupwise Webaccess 5.5 from home and was unable. I received the following message:

"The system cannot complete your request. Your mailbox is unavailable"

I'm just wondering where to start troubleshooting?

I've never had any trouble logging in before from home.

I've yet to login at work, I'll try that in the morning.

Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. My knowledge of Groupwise on my server is very limited.

Thanks

I think it's a different message, but are you by any chance using AOL dialup client? Otherwise, it sounds like the WebAccess server itself wasn't available or the GroupWise server was unavailable. If you're not responsible for those, I'd start with a call to whoever is to make sure those two processes are/were up and running.

[red]1oldfoxman[/red] is right. We've had troubles with AOL also. TID 10073035 describes this problem and two possible solutions. We opted for the second solution, telling our users to minimize the AOL interface after they've connected and to use IE to log into WebAccess.

According to the TID, though, it looks like something else might be causing your problem. Try connecting from work (or a different computer). If the error still occurs, then it's probably something on your server. Otherwise, try clearing the cache in your home computer. Finally, it's good practice to periodically run Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy on your home computer to get rid of any spyware/adware. These little nasty's can cause wierd problems.

Hope that helps.
