Unable to log into Voicemail Pro with Administrator rights

We have recently taken over maintenance of a Server edition system. As as part of the transfer process I changed the Service user login credentials through Web Manager and synchronised the security database successfully. I am able to login to the Server edition primary & secondary server as Administrator and new password without hassle. The problem is that when I log in to voicemail pro through the vmpro client using the same username & password I only get viewing rights with most options greyed out. I was able to successfully change the administrator password in vmpro by going to File>Change Password and made it the same password as the Administrator user that I use in Manager.
I have allocated the Administrator user to the Administrator Rights group using the security settings in Manager and have ticked pretty much all the permission options on all the tabs.

Any help would be appreciated.
