Unable to log into site remotely without Active local session.

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a weird issue with a web based app I have running via Windows 2000 Svr IIS5 and SQL 2000.

I'm unable to access my application from machines on the same LAN as my server unless a I log into the application first on the server and leave an active browser session running?

My first thought is that i have a setting misconfigured in IIS though I'm not sure where. Anybody here experienced similar behaviour/ got any ideas??

Any help appreciated.
