Unable to load the job configuration information

Hi All,

I have received the following error when attempting to backup to tape DAT 72.

I followed the Veritas advice and repaired the Database, using Beutility, then tried to run another backup, however the same error occurs !

I also have this error coming up repeatedly

50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on ABPSVR01\SharePoint. Check the database connection information and make sure that the database server is running.

I have searched for advice to fix 50070 error but i dont want to mess with the Registry at all.

I assume they are related

Please help
