You could re-start the assistant from the Portal.
Or you could
EXE-UPDAT:BP,ALL;
EXE-UPDAT:A1,ALL;
RESTART;

which will do a soft restart, this should keep calls in progress but re-start the Assistant
And try again.

Sorry - Assistant restart is in Assistant
Base Administration/Reboot-Shutdown/Reboot Assistant

Software Transfer is EXTREMELY snotty about what browser you are using. If you are not using Internet Destroyer (Explorer) try using that. Same issue with the WBM on the NCUI and STMI cards - you get different results depending on which browser you use (and also which Java version you use sometimes). Chrome is impossible to do any system maintenance in, Safari (the last time I loaded it) seems like a re-branding of Chrome, Firefox works pretty dang good, and I especially like it allowing me to say "stop nagging me about errors every single time I click something" - sometimes when you do the preparation steps though you will get a hard error. In that case I have found that backing up a step and contimuing on forward again will sometimes help. I hate that internet explorer nags you every single command about the cert error, or the java issue, or whatever other issue it has... Firefox will not do software transfer though - nor will it allow WBM on STMI and NCUI cards.

I have Firefox working mostly for all of that but I made a mistake and 'upgrade' to Win 10.
After 6 problems (the first one being in a remote area and the Laptop telling me I needed Internet to even log on)
I went back to Win 7.
Now I use Virtual XP for Win 7 with XPMore.
The XPMore gives me the ability to copy the Virtual XP's so I have one for each version.
And I know that each one will work if my standard one does not.
