Unable to load Patches

Hi All,

I have a BCM 400 4.0, when I try to load pathces (any Patch) element manager will just time out. It will not show any progress that the patch is even downloading.

Has anyone seen this?

try reinstalling the element manager, take it from the unit you want to patch

Tried reinstalling from BCM,still the same problem.

Have you tried it from a different PC..

Also have you tried patching from LAN2 with a cross over cable ?

may not be applicable in this case - but are there any pre-requisites for these patches

Tried from a machine on the customers network and from my notebook Directly into lan 2, I still get the same thing.Tried rebooting the system. No luck.

what pre-requisites? I am trying to load the latest version of the desktop and system updates. I read the readme file I did not see anything other than loading the latest software managment patch.

If you have any other info it would help.

I would try downloading the latest element manager from Nortel website. There were issues with not being able to load patches.
