Unable to load communications module

I have installed a copy of MSDE 2000 sp3 on a 2003 SBS. For some reason the instance and all instances are now erroring when you try a connection to the databse with "Unable to load communiaction module. Driver has not been correctly installed". I installed a new instance of MSDE earlier this week on a client's server and my application was working fine, today when I dialled in (directly to saerver)to check something I am getting the same error again, client machines that try to access have no problems accessing since I reinstalled the new instance earlier in the week. I'm at a total loss now :-(

Really odd this does not seem to be a SQL server error at all.
I think you should evaluate your dial in capabilities.

What application is giving you this error?

What happens when you try to connect with osql?
