All right, we figured out what was going on. The problem was we installed crystal enterpise 10 through terminal services which granted incorrect security privleages to the dll files. The reportadd function did not work because the reportadd.dll was granted incorrect permissions. This also solved anothe issue I posted with Crystal not calling a custom dll we use.

In general,I have found that CE does not like being installed through Terminal Services ( especially from a mapped drive on the 'local' PC) , altho' using Funk's Proxy software does seem to work.
