We are running Backup Exec ver. 7.0 on an NT 4.0 server.
When trying to setup the Win95 agent the install always crashes. The error message usually says: "can't read from drive __ (which ever drive the CD ROM is)." Sometimes it says "instl30...caused a GPF in module _ins0433._mp...".
The error message occurs no matter where the install directory is: the local CD ROM, server CD ROM, the local C: drive, or the server C: drive.
Surprizingly it finds a bad CD ROM even when being installed from the harddrive.
Wonder if this could be due to conflicting dll's. Our workstation is Win98.
