Hi guys.

I may well be posting in the wrong forum, but im trying to install server 2003 onto a dell machine.

It runs through install in the expected way, loads all the files without any errors, until i get to the "welcome to setup" page

I hit enter to set up windows now and get the message that setup did not find any hard disk drives on my computer.

The machine is currently running server 2008 which i can use without any problems. so this message makes no sense to me at all.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Tom

This is because you haven't loaded the correct storage drivers for the OS to be able to see the drives. I am not familiar with Dell servers but you should be able to download their server config tool that will help you with the OS installation.
