unable to install cobolv3.exe free version fujitsu

I HAVE DOWNLOADED FUJITSU COBOLV3.EXE but each time i try to launch the self
extracting file I get the following error : this program has performed an illegal operation.
can somebody help or give a link to zip file containing the same apllication

There's likely nothing wrong with the file you downloaded. The problem is more likely specific to your PC. Have you checked the details of the illegal operation to see which module is causing the problem and exactly what it's trying to do? Oftentimes, you can find the problem by doing a Google search for the module name and the particular exception.
