unable to get the upfront portal in windows Internet Explorer?

Hi,
I'm facing a very weird problem.I am not able to get the Upfront portal from my machine,though it works fine in all the other machines.Whenever I try to connect the URL specified by the company in the address bar,it gets stuck and I'm not even able to close the window. I'm not having this problem in any other machine.
In my machine,it shows like the Cognos access manager logon page is trying to show up,but it never does.
Is this has got anything to do with the IE ? I'm using IE version 6 .
I can view the reports and cubes in the Enterprise server though.
Any solutions or ideas are welcome.
 
Have you logged on to Upfront on another person's machine using your user id?
Are other people using IE6?

First thing we've always done when it is machine specific is to reinstall IE.
