unable to get repond from vpn contivity

Hi,

I'm not if this is the right forum to post but..trying my luck.

My company has bought a nortel contivity to serve as our VPN device.
I added the users to the vpn list in the contivity web application.
I tried to vpn from my home using the client but was geting error: remote host not responding.
I tried to ping the address: 202.172.52.226, got the follwing msg: TTL expired in transit

I would like to know if i need to add the public ip address assigned to the contivity to our C837 cisco router ?

If so, how do i add it? sorry, i know nuts abt routers and on how to configure them.

Can you explain your diagram/topology?
is it:
LAN--Contivity---ciscoRtr---Internet?

When one does a traceroute to the device listed it bounces around between (2)routers at the last leg and will never get to that IP address.. You may wish to talk to your ISP as this explains the TTL message that you're getting. This appears to be a routing problem.

Note that you will definitely NOT want to assign the same public IP address to the router and the contivity box.
