unable to get client for SMS installed on win9x desktops

I have done an &quot;express&quot; install of SMS 2.0 on a standalone server.&nbsp;&nbsp;there is 1 PDC, 1 SMS server and 1 win9x client pc.<br><br>I have them all on 192.168.0.x subnet 255.255.255.0<br><br>I cannot get the win9x client box to get discovered in the SMS server admin console or the client software to install automatically onto it.<br><br>I have tried adding DNS and WINS to the pdc and to the win9x and it still doesn't see it.&nbsp;&nbsp;It will see it in network neighborhood however.<br><br>Any help would be greatly appreciated!!<br><br>E-mail <A HREF="mailtoreillyr@dscltd.com">oreillyr@dscltd.com</A>

Are you entering 255.255.255.0 as your subnet in the site boundaries?&nbsp;&nbsp;If you are, the clients won't get discovered because that is the subnet mask.&nbsp;&nbsp;Based on your message, the subnet entered into the site boundaries should be something like 192.168.0.0. <p>Tom Thaden<br><a href=mailto:thadents@usano.ksc.nasa.gov>thadents@usano.ksc.nasa.gov</a><br><a href= > </a><br>

I am using 192.168.0.0&nbsp;&nbsp;I believe this is a bug in the SMS2.0 prg.&nbsp;&nbsp;I heard that SP2 will fix it.&nbsp;&nbsp;It DOES DISCOVER THE WinNT pc's fine.

For Win95, load service pack 1 (of course you've already done this), then load the latest DCOM95 (1.2?)
