Im putting in a brand new McAfee solution for a customer and I am unable to get thier server to update DATs from the nai ftp site, the error message is so general I cant figure out where the prooblem lies and wondered if anyone else had seen it.
"An unknown error occured while reading from the remote system and the connection was dropped" appears in the log when ran manually or as scheduled. At first I thought it may be to do with our web filtering, but the task actually gets through and begins to download the incrementals and THEN drops out.
I think there may be alternate ways to update dats but i have only ever come accross the ftp method before....anyone seen this before?
