Unable to find or move datawaindow dropdown 1

HI folks

I have a datawindow which consists of 10 columns in a row left to right, in the dw header section below which are the respective variables in the 'detail' section

My problem is that need to move one of these columns but cant find it. It appears in the preview window ok but is missing on the actual design window. I can see it in the control list but it appears in a different place to where it is appearing on the preview screen when selected

any ideas?

Sounds like the column is on a different 'band' than the others. Try moving the bands apart and see if you find the errant column (you can then drag it back onto the band with the others).

Check its X, Y attributes from:

Properties -> Expressions tabpage -> X and Y

If you are using v7 or above, you have them on the Position tabpage - the tiny picture buttons that are green if there is any value/expression specified for them. Just click on them and remove the value/expression from the dialog.
