Unable to factory reset 9630 1

Mute button, then proc password and then pound key not working. Phone just ignores you if it is logged in and sitting idle. If you recycle power and press * to program the password does not work there either. When you press mute-pwd-# it just goes into restarting. Any ideas please?

The password might have been changed in the 46xxsettings file, download and check it. Also what release of IPO are you working on?

Local acess is blocked in the 46xxsettings.txt file.
Make sure it downloads the file and if it does not use wireshark to find out where the phone tries to get the file from and setup a fileserver on that ip address to provide a default 46xxsettings file.

Yeah, thanks folks for the reminder. I loaded the 46xx and activated the procpwd to defaul and it worked. Much appreciated!
